First Day at IFG
Thanks everyone who made us feel welcome without knowing them!
Weekend in Trindade
Knowing the basilica church of the eternal father. One of the largest in Brazil, well know for being a place of faith and devotion fro Brazilians.
Ice cream of cajá-manga
"had never taste before. Is not bad, but really different, even that because we have to eat with salt. I like to try new flavors, and the culture of Goiânia is very vast. I would eat again. It tastes sweet, but when you add salt it gets a little bit more bitter." - Aline
>Multirama Park <
The park is located in front of the IFG, it is a very green and calm area. I visited this park a few times during my lunch break, to relax and enjoy the local toys. Which are even free. Every time it was incredible, I really love nature, especially the trees.- Aline
Goiania's farewell at Mr.Hoppy
Enjoying the goiania night in a traditional bar with the girls from the lapassion project. They became great friends, I hope for life.- Aline
It doesn't matter if we only met for 7 or 15 days, this night will always be remembered as the best of my nights in Brazil.- Araceli
Pitahaya - Dragon Fruit
This external appearance with its intense colors and its strange shape have given it the name of dragon fruit, pitaya or pitahaya, which in Haitian means «scaly fruit». It is native to Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Nicaragua, but has spread throughout America.
The first day I visited the supermarket, this fruit caught my attention because of its shape and color. I decided to try it for breakfast and felt a little disappointed that I couldn't find any flavor for it. Neither sweet nor salty, but I suppose it would go very well together with other fruits like orange. I will have to give him a second chance. -Araceli

The Goiânia Art Museum (MAG) was inaugurated on October 20, 1970. Therefore, it is the first public-municipal museum of plastic arts in the Midwest region and has three Exhibition Rooms. One of them, located in another headquarters, at SEPAC - Exhibition Hall of the Palace of Culture - at Praça Universitária.
Bosque dos Buritis is the oldest landscape heritage in Goiânia. It was designed in the city's Eastern Plan to be a green area. With 124,800 m², it has three artificial lagoons supplied by the Buriti stream, in addition to several underground channels. In one of these lakes is the largest jet of water in South America.
The place is beautiful to walk for a while in the middle of nature, you can see many different animals such as birds, turtles, and fish. has the art museum that seeks to convey through its paintings the history of the country.- Araceli
THE FAMOUS AÇAI
In the humid forests of northern South America, the inhabitants of the Amazon River collect the açai fruit, also called asaí, in their baskets, a fruit very rich in antioxidants, which favors the absorption of nutrients, and to which properties are attributed anti-aging; in fact, the Amazon Indians who consume it daily are distinguished by their longevity. This berry is born from the Euterpe oleracea palm -which grows in Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, French Guiana, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela-, and which reaches a height of 20 meters, which is why the harvesting of its fruits, which usually done by hand, it becomes a complicated and dangerous task.
FIRST ROUND
The first time the banana and cranberry fruits came to mind, but once again I did not like the taste very much.
SECOND ROUND
I decided to give it a second chance and came to the conclusion that this fruit is something that one has to get used to the taste

Acerola Fruit
Acerola is a plant native to Central America that has expanded into South America, including Brazil, the extreme south of Texas and the Caribbean. The tree has also been introduced in tropical regions of Asia and Africa.
Also is one of the richest fruits in vitamin C. It contains 1 to 2 grams per 100 grams of fruit, which is up to 20 to 30 times more than in an orange or a kiwi.
At first my impression was: It looks too much like a cherry and I took it to my mouth thinking it was sweet. Who would have imagined that sabr was bittersweet closer to acidity. Interesting flavor, again Brazil surprises me again with its fruits that are of a peculiar taste. - Araceli
